Camperdown Race Track Available For Training
DAYS : Monday – Saturday (Incl)
TIMES : 11AM – 1PM
COST : $16 Grass / $5 Sand / Per Horse
BOOKING PROCEDURE:
Booking is through the VRQHA. A booking form must be completed
and emailed to admin prior to using the training facility. The
VRQHA will invoice each trainer at the end of each month and then
forward moneys onto the Camperdown Turf Club. There are a number
of procedures that each trainer MUST follow at the track:
- See curator on arrival. If curator is not available, he may
be watering or grading, check board for track conditions. Adhere
to any track conditions at all times, ie if riding on grass,
witches hats may be out to indicate where you may ride.
- For safety reasons, and for insurance purposes, there MUST be a second person with you while you train.
- ONLY VRQHA registered horses, riders and trainers are to use the facility.
REMEMBER Trainers Using the Camperdown track for training purposes do so as representatives of the VRQHA and your actions reflect on the VRQHA. Failure to adhere to booking procedures and rules of training will result in the trainer being refused use of the track in future.
